BAG POLICY

No backpacks, large purses, or bags allowed except for:
  • Small clutch bags (5.5" x 4.5")
  • Fanny packs / waist packs (5.5" x 4.5")
  • One-gallon clear zip-top bags
  • Clear drawstring or clear backpacks with one additional pocket
  • Hydration packs / Camelbaks with one additional pocket
    (Bladder must be empty upon entry)

AGE REQUIREMENTS

All attendees must be 18+ to enter, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
State or government-issued ID required upon entry.

You must be 21+ with a valid government ID to purchase or consume alcohol.

HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES

  • In case of emergency, contact the nearest staff member.
  • Medical staff will be on-site and equipped to handle situations.
  • The festival is partially outdoors — prepare for weather conditions.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing.
  • Note the location of exits, information points, first aid areas, and water refill stations when our site map is released.
  • Please cooperate with staff, security, and police.
  • Please drink alcohol responsibly - DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and electrolytes.
  • There will be security onsite — ILLfest is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Bring only essential items.
  • Charging lockers will be available — pre-order recommended.

WATER STATIONS & POLICIES

ILLfest will provide free water refill stations onsite.
  • Refillable water bottles will be available for purchase at the merchandise booth.
  • Bars and vendors will sell single-use water bottles (please recycle).
  • Guests are encouraged to bring empty refillable bottles or hydration packs.
  • All containers must be empty upon entry.

    COMMUNITY POLICY

    ILLfest is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees and staff.
    Note on headdresses and messaging:
    • Attendees should not wear Native American headdresses out of respect for cultural traditions.
    • Signs, clothing, or messaging that harm others are not permitted.
    ILLfest reserves the right to confiscate items that violate these policies.

    We appreciate your cooperation in helping create a positive, respectful, and inclusive festival experience.

    (No One Wheelers, etc.)

    NO BICYCLES, SCOOTERS OR SKATEBOARDS

    NO WAGONS, STROLLERS OR CARTS

    NO COOLERS OR OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGES

    All bags and persons will be searched. Any prohibited item that is surrendered to security at search points will not be returned. ILLfest reserves the right to make the final decision on allowed and prohibited items without notice.

    TOTEM / SIGN POLICY

    • Totems or signs must be no taller than 7 ft
    • Totem or sign sticks must be made of something light (PVC pipe or similar)
    • No wood or metal
    • Do not attach anything that could cut or poke someone
    • No threatening or offensive messages
    Security will be on the lookout for unsafe items and may confiscate any totem that does not meet event safety standards.

    SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY

    Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

    Examples include:
    • Guiding individuals who are blind
    • Alerting individuals who are deaf
    • Pulling a wheelchair
    • Assisting during seizures
    • Reminding individuals to take medication
    • Calming individuals with PTSD during anxiety attacks
    Service animals are working animals, not pets.
    The task performed must be directly related to the person’s disability.

    Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

    How will I receive my tickets?

    Tickets will be delivered digitally via email and will also be available in your Easol account the week of the event. 

    Please note: your order must be paid in full before tickets are issued.

     Where and when will I get my festival admission wristband?

    Wristbands can be picked up at the festival box office during show days or at the advance satellite box office.

    You must present your QR code to receive your wristband, which will be placed directly on your wrist at that time.

    Wristbands will:

    • Not be distributed to anyone not present.
    • Not be mailed in advance.
    How do I access my tickets or fix an issue with my order?

    Your tickets and order information will be available in your Easol account and sent via email the week of the event (once your order is paid in full). 

    If you need help with your order, including fixing an email typo or accessing your tickets, you can:

    • Contact Easol support at support@easol.com
    • Or reach out to the ILLfest team at info@illfest.com for assistance with ticket transfers
    Can I resell or transfer my ticket?

    ILLfest does not offer an official resale platform, but tickets can be transferred or resold privately.

    If you choose to sell your ticket:
    Payment must be handled directly between the buyer and seller
    The buyer must create an Easol account: https://book.illfest.com/sign-up
    Once payment is complete, the original purchaser must email info@illfest.com with:
    The new attendee’s full name
    The new attendee’s email address

    Our team will transfer the ticket through Easol.

    Can I bring my medications?

    Yes, medications are allowed with the following guidelines:

    • Over-the-counter medications must be in unopened, factory-sealed packaging

    • Prescription medications must be:

      • In original prescription bottles

      • In-date and clearly labeled

      • Matching the name on your valid photo ID

    • Only one type of medication per bottle.

    Controlled substances must be brought in reasonable quantities for the duration of the festival.

    Vitamins and supplements are not permitted.

    Will I be searched?

    Yes. For the safety of all attendees, all persons, vehicles, and property are subject to search at any time.

    All guests will undergo airport-style screening upon entry, including bag checks and pat-downs.

    Refusal to comply with a search will result in denial of entry or removal from the event.

    Will there be medical personnel on site?

    Yes. Medical staff will be available onsite throughout the duration of the festival.

    Medical tents will be clearly marked. If you need assistance, please contact the nearest security staff, team member, or go directly to the medical tent.

    If you are unsure whether your situation is an emergency, treat it as one and seek help immediately.
